Nice to Meet You!
JoJo's Bakeshop is owned and operated by Johanna Charlton, affectionately known as JoJo.  JoJo has always been known for her creative ability and passion for the arts, as well as fine food! Having lived in New York City, she was constantly surrounded by delicious cup-cakeries and quaint little bakeshops.  And during her travels throughout the world, she was further influenced by the local flavors and artisanal patisseries in diversely cultural places such France, Italy, Mexico, and the Philippines.  Inspired to share her experiences with food and art, JoJo decided to pursue a career in the world of cake making!

To further perfect her skills, JoJo graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu program in Pasadena, CA for the French technique of baking and patisserie.  It was during the program she learned the fundamentals of making bread, cookies, custards, sugar sculpture, chocolate confections, cake decorating and much more!  She went on to work in the industry creating delicious desserts and goodies for Valerie's Confections, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, and Specialties Cafe & Bakery. Being recognized by a local bakery for her attention to detail and creative ability, she was recruited to lead and manage their cake decorating team where she continued to refine her technique. 

Being driven by her own passion and vision, JoJo's Bakeshop was born.  JoJo now enjoys creating custom cakes and pastries for her clients and is honored to be a part of their special events and celebrations.
